Once again I found myself swamped with work causing the now familiar last minute rush to check the race car over before departing to Donnington. This race weekend was going to be a very different affair than what has become the norm. Oulton Park Race Report

The long wait for the start of the 2011 Super Mighty Minis Championship ended when the Oulton Park Paddock came alive with the rumble of Mini engines as the hazy April morning Sun slowly climbed in the sky.

Brands Hatch Hoorah

Rounds 3 & 4 at Brands Hatch Mini Festival were almost 3 weeks ago but nevertheless I'll get typing and give a quick preview for this weekend's event at Cadwell Park. The weather was a bit of a mixed bag at Brands Hatch and I have to admit, the wind is not my favourite, especially when there are gazebo's in question! We didn't sail off into the distance so that's good but we did come away with some good learning outcomes, best quali position and good points in the bag.

Oulton Park - 2014

Championship moved back to the UK, and more reasonable temperatures to be strapped in to a tin can, for rounds 7 & 8 on the International circuit at Oulton Park.

2016 Donington Park – BigMacRacing / Kieren McDonald

The Leicestershire circuit of Donington Park hosted rounds 7 & 8 of the Dunlop mini se7en challenge and mini miglia, both supported by Mini Spares.
In the lead up to the event there had been severe flooding across the UK but luckily it was forecast to be dry during the event. Hunter Racetech prepped
the car ahead of the meet but unfortunately not for Max, as he was off on a pre-booked trip to Le Mans....

From the Super-fast circuit of Thruxton the Super Might Minis Championship moved on to Brands Hatch for the Mini Festival and the mid-point of the season.

In fact there are two held, due to the copious quality of “surface area” that makes up North America and Canada! One designated Mini Meet West and the other (Surprise surprise) is the Mini Meet East. Each year one of the numerous Mini owners Clubs volunteers to arrange and conduct the meeting at a venue in their area.
